My friend Chris got married on Treasure Island on Sunday. It was an outdoor wedding and was short but also very nice. The reception was in the building next to where they got married, I was sat on a table of American girls, which was nice ; )

The reception finished quite early so some of us went onto a bar afterwards. Being Sunday night it wasn't exactly rammed, but when's that ever mattered? We still had a good time......I think. I remember one girl wanting to rescue the Nemo looking fish in the tank behind the bar and me being quite ready to jump over the bar and get it. Think my arse would have been on the pavement in no time if I had.

Monday was a write off. Tuesday we drove to the Golden Gate Bridge, went across it and stopped at the view point on the other side. Luckily it was a clear day so we got great views of the bay - you can never tell with San Francisco, it can be sunny blue sky one minute and then you drive into a cloud and it's complete white out.

San Francisco has a WWII submarine (thanks Uncle Peter) anchored on one of the piers in the bay, on our way to it we passed down the famous croocked street, it's a street what's crocked; cool but still a street. The WWII submarine was very interesting. There was a guy on it, who had served on a similar class of submarine, that was there to answer any questions we had - he seemed to know everything there was to know about WWII subs. He went on for ages ("When I was in the war") and told us loads of interesting stuff.

This past week I've been staying with friends of my Mum's who have been very kind to put us up. I spend tomorrow night in LA - getting the coach there in the morning - then I fly to Columbia the following afternoon to stay with Tato´s family
