My dad worked out this crazy route to Bangkok. 1 day for 3 cities.
We took the train to Shanghai again because flights from there are cheaper/more common than from Nanjing. We flew to Shenzhen which is the closest Chinese mainland city to Hong Kong. Nothing great happened there, we just took a cab to the ferry and then took the ferry to enter Hong Kong, which is where the main story starts...
