After a long night of travelling (and serious swaying from side to side!) we arrived at Genovesa Island which was the furthest north of all the islands we visited. This island was perfect for bird watchers and the main desire from the bird-watching couple of the boat was to see the short eared owl. We were lucky enough to see one and it also gave us a nice show of hunting, killing and eating a bird. I´ve posted the only photo I´ve got of the owl.... see if you can see it! (Clue: it´s in a cave somewhere....!)
We finished the day by snorkelling at Darwin Bay and there we all swam with sharks and manta rays. Great finish to our last snorkel on the Galapagos.
