Today we travelled with our bus or truck that has the name Peggy from Salta in Argentina to Tupiza in Bolivia. We passed the Humahuaca Canyon in Argentina and shortly after we stopped for lunch. We had sandwiches with chicken, tuna, cheese and salad and even a fresh fruit salad.
At the Argentinian border we had to wait a bit because another bus had just arrived before us. But at the Bolivian border our tour guide got some forms out of an office which was a missunderstanding and the custom officier got really mad. Therfore he told us that the whole group had to wait 4 hours to enter. For us the office was closed until 6pm! Fortunately, a Brazialian helped us and in the end we only had to wait two hours!! So with a bit of delay we arrived in Tupiza, our stop for the day. The provincial city is also known for Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
I also have to say that the roads in Bolivia are not as good as the ones in Argentina. Half of way was dirt roads so a bit bumpy and dusty.
