Today was a downtime day as Joe is battling a cold and looks like crap. We are both on Airbourne. Which is a powder that you mix with a glass or bottle of water and it is supposed to boost your immune system. We shall see. We also noticed shortness of breath doing simple easy things like walking around touring. We are told that at this altitude it is common and could take up to a month to adjust our bodies. So we hung around Mary's home and I got to make breakfast. Eggs Belize, potatoes and bacon.
We went to Wal-Mart for a memory chip for Joes new phone, which did come today via UPS, and I picked up some items to make dinner. We had Balsamic chicken over fettuccini Alfredo and some fresh honey dew melon, cantaloupe and bananas for a fresh fruit salad.
We got some clothes washed and dried and stopped by the post office to mail home some clothing and items we felt were just weighing us down. Joe sent some gifts to his boys Joey and Jordan. They actually start back to school this coming Monday.
We were going to leave today but they have been calling for some major thunderstorms in the area with 2" hail. So we spent our time restoring all the information into the new phone and planning the rest of our trip. Weather depending. My bike is already packed and ready to go. Joe has a good start. I can't for the life of me figure out how I sent so much stuff home and it doesn't seem like I got any more room in the bags whatsoever. It's kind of like losing that one sock in the dryer. My theory there is that the rotation speed of the dryer matches some universal undiscovered time continuum that throws the sock into the future where  some person is saying "mom there is an extra sock in the dryer." Which would explain how I keep getting those crazy single multicolored socks in mine. Enough rambling for today.
Oh; I did have a poem for our night in that infamous Elmcourt Motel if you've been following our stories:
Les and Moore had a terrible fight.
Shots were heard late one night.
Les shot Moore.
Moore shot Les.
No Moore ... no Les
Goodnight Gracie
