We are heading to krudco to ask for a tour of rochesters skate spots....
Part II:
After meeting the guys at Krudco, Ben, and Caleb, we were impressed with the quality of the shop, lots of good selections and the guys working there was knowledgable. We asked about the local skating scene and there WAS a really really nice indoor park not too far from the R.I.T. campus. Due to economy, it shut down unexpectedly. We watched a few videos, and chatted more about Rochester Skating. Eventually we exchanged numbers, and later on the night Ben texted us, and asked if we wanted to join their crew at a regular spot in the city. We went downtown, and I gave Josh a impromptu tour around downtown, and it looked like a ghost town. Lots of police running around watching the intersections, but where's the people?!?!? There was next to nobody around there but then again it was a Sunday night, and my prior experience with Rochester tells me, it's dead night. Nothing goes on, and everything's super quiet. We found the parking garage Ben told us about, and we headed out there and went below. Here are some shots of some of the crew. We had poor lightings, and my crappy Sony Cybershot from the 90's with delayed reaction, and choppy video. It's still better than nothing. We're hoping for a better digital video camera for more shots down the road for sponsorships. Josh truly enjoyed his workout, working on his manual's, and line of tricks.
