An nice and easy start to our day today. We had not planned to do anything much except have a late lunch in town somewhere. The weather is warm again ,a good time to sit  outside and have our morning cuppa and cereals. I had to do a little bit of washing so attacked the machines while Rick was forced to relax and read some more of David Copperfield. He downloaded it on his kindle a while back and it took a little time to get into it, but now he is right into it and enjoying it very much. Most caravan parks in Europe do not have very good washing facilities and only tend to have one, or at most two washing machines, however this park has three , and as the people staying here do not seem to do a lot of washing , it was not very difficult to find a free machine. The difficult thing is that the writing on the machine is in Spanish. Now we know that most machines are basically the same  all over the world, but it is surprising how the foreign language written on them throws you.My motto, just pretend that it is an Aussie one and go for it. Seems to work out ok as well. After that stressing experience I just had to join Rick and do some reading as well.
We walked to town just after 1pm. Not as busy today as yesterday, just a few tourists walking around enjoying the sunshine. This time we walked the back streets and came across some Roman Ruins. The site has been partially dug out and has revealed some interesting stone work. We were hoping to be able to enter the site but once again it was quiet time so all is locked up for about 3 hours. That part is very frustrating here. We will try to do the tour before we leave here as it would be most interesting. Also came across some good little eating places away from the Boulevard. good food and pretty cheap as well. Sat down and had a nice meal including some anchovies in vinegar and oil. Will be sure to make that when we get home, simply delicious and great with some very crusty bread. Always remember to soak up the oil and vinegar with the bread, you can feel it doing you good.
Had to walk some of those calories off on the way home . Tomorrow we will pay a visit to Tarragona and see some more old stuff. Plenty of it there, should be interesting. Haven't decided yet wheather to catch the train or bus .
So here we are, sitting outside having a drink , watching an old couple park their van and put up the annexe. The best floor show ever.
A beautiful and relaxing day today. It would be so easy to stay here a lot longer but there is still so much to do and see. See ya tomorrow
