I have finally caught up and am up to date. Have posted the last 3 blogs under their correct dates but in reality posted them today. No internet available untill today.    All too soon morning came and we had to say bye bye to family once more, the most difficult part of it all. It was good to catch up with Wim and his family and we hope to do it all again next year. Thanks guys for everything, we had a ball.We will keep in touch.
On the road again by 9.30 am heading towards Giethorn a small town on the other side of Holland. Not that it takes very long to get there also the road systems in Holland are so good, everything is easy to reach and also it all interlinks with each other, something to take note of Australia.Just over 1 and a half hours later we arrived at this little town which is often referred to as the Venice of Holland. It is most unusual and very very pretty. The best part of the town does not have roads and homes can only be reached by boat or by foot and bicycle. It is so unique and of course attracts lots of people from all over the world. All this is managed very well and never do you feel hemmed in by tourists. We kept saying how peaceful it was just walking around the place. the houses are simply gorgeous to look at and are very muvh lived in as well. Rick and I did not know about this town until we received a email from Ingrid's flat mate Sue Ellen which showed all the thached roofs and the lovely houses. this was prior to coming here and we always felt that we should visit it. Well worth the trip, Thanks Suzi for ending us the email. Lots of little eateries and bars if you are so inclined as well.
Spend a few good hours walking around there thoroughly enjoying every minute of it. It was a bit cool but that didn't seem to matter much, anyway they say we will have 2 warm days this week so all is good. that is called summer.
Found a caravan park half an hour from here and parked Charlie for another night. A very big park but ok to spend a night. Heading towards Germany tomorrow and will catch up with our friends in Hamburg the day after.
Great day once again.
Not many captions on the photos this time as the picture tells all
See you tomorrow
