Nice stay at Holbeach, it rained a little during the night bur this morning was clear. We had to take Charlie helios to the doctor this morning, nothing bad but she displayed a warning light. It went out again after about 5 minutes but we decided to drive to Wisbech to get her examined. The man said nothing much wrong , it could have been a bit of sediment in the air filter so we had the fuel and air filter changed. Once again they were most helpful and the whole thing only took about half an hour.Charlie felt better and so did we.
Next stop Donington, this was just a village we expected to drive through on our way to Longnor but oh what a surprise awaited us. On our way through Rick saw a butcher shop sign and wanted to stop and see if they had any pork pies. Of course they did and lots and lots of other nice pies. Rick had 2 pork pies and I had a cornish pastie.Wow , have never tasted anything as good as that before. Aussies get you act together because what we call a pastie is nothing like the real thing.
We saw a statue and decided to see who it was. Mathew Flinders if you please, he was born in Donington. Not as well known here as in Oz but it was nice to see where he was born just the same.
Had another orange squash in the local, can't get enough of the look of these old pubs they are so beautiful and cosy.
Thought we would be better to get some miles under our belt so put Longnor in the Garmin ( have to find a better name for it ) and as per usual it directed us straight there. Lovely scenery here and of course another quaint village although the materials used  for their buildings is nealry all stone. Will investigate more tomorrow. Here for 2 nights so this will give us ime to look around a bit more.
Have met some friendly people in the park already. Weather holding pretty well.
Looking forward to tomorrow. No doube more pork pies, Rick is making up for lost time.

Glad you have started off so well and enjoying the pies and pasties. Our granddaughter loves Ozzie meat pies and thinks there is nothing like them.
