What a great day! We got the opportunity to go to Manchester UMC's Contemporary Service or Youth Sunday School and then we sang 2 songs for their 10:30 am service. After church we were joined by Haley Schell(last year's summer intern) and her sister Mattie. What a fun surprise! They stayed with us for most of the day.

We changed and ate lunch at a Homestyle Buffet...then off to the City Museum. I don't know if you will be able to tell through the pictures but it was like a LARGE jungle gym and was soooo much fun. We all had a ball. Slides, tunnels, caves, art, a "skateless park" and so much more.

We then went to our scheduled IMAX movie about Lewis and Clark...the movie theater is underground below the Arch. Then up in the Arch! They put 5 people in an enclosed Bucket type seat...a little close for some people but then we are up at the top in 4 minutes!!! Beautiful day by the way - and I am happy to say...NO Wind. Whew.

Then we changed again - for our surprise culteral experience - didn't have time for dinner...so snacks galore(of which we still have plenty).

Oh, by the way, our Surprise was..."Phantom of the Opera" at the FOX Theater. Rick and Heidi took the Seniors and they had a special treat of being a little closer than the rest of us. Most of us enjoyed the show - but some people got to nap...just a little. :)

Then Midnight dinner at Denny's...and off to bed.

Hello from the Hermanns
Hi, y'all. St. Louis looks like lots of fun. Do you know that I've never seen the Arch? I've always wanted to do that. Traveling is fun, isn't it? We went shelling on a part of Santa Rosa Island twice this weekend, to an area that can't currently be reached by car. Y'all, we found the nicest shells! Let's all go together, to do that, real soon! We'll need lots of boats. Well, ta-ta for now. Thanks to all of you, youth and adults, for your wonderful choir tour ministry. With love from the Big Hermanns
