Highlights of Saturday:
It is Saturday right?

We left Memphis by 9:00 am to drive to St. Louis. Our concert today was at a home facility for adults with extreme mental and physical disabilities...called PonyBird. We were welcomed there with a lunch and tours of the homes for the residents. Then we got to sing to 50 people in wheelchairs in a space for about 12 people - they loved the music though. And one of their favorite songs is "Happy Birthday", so we added that to our show. Again, I am proud of our students because they sang so well and mingled when we were finished and most of these adults can't speak or hold direct eye contact...but they loved every minute of our time with them. Many of our girls were given a very innocent kiss on the hand by a gentleman who then said - "I will miss you".

From there we were off to the St. Louis Zoo - where we also ate dinner. We enjoyed the animals there, and 2 of our seniors made "Build a Bears"...

Then on to the Super 8 in St. Charles, MO...

Two of our girls were sick yesterday - so much so, that they did not join us the entire day. One is still recovering from strep throat - but please pray that we get and stay healthy!!! Also, we are also learning how to come up with new ways to deal with problems or issues instead of complaining or ignoring or having an attitude...

Brad Bullock - Ben is winning your trivia questions that you are sending. Don't skip anymore days!!!!

We have an early morning tomorrow - heading to a church in Manchester!!!
