It was a very scenic drive from the airport in the central part of the country to the northern tip of Viti Levu.  Very tropical.

The hotel is just for one night and used to be a premier facility when the British ruled the island as a colony...but that was many years ago.  Still nice, albeit rustic!

The waters and bay around Rakiraki is very picturesque and the diving was good.
