I woke up this morning with the sun bursting through my curtains this place is really quiet beautiful and not what you would expect from Vietnam, almost a European type of climate and Flora and fauna. .

I had a small stroll around Delat but it wasn't really Upton much lots of hotels, places to eat nothing that special. I took a stroll past the market with women chopping up fish on th e street and people selling fresh vegetables. My aim of today was to get into the countryside. As it happens in these country's people are always trying to approach you to sell you things sunglasses, dvds, you name it they sell it also taxi drivers and guys o scooters always approach you to take you for a ride. I must admit I have not found the Vietnamese the most friendly bunch of people other people in Asia I have meet were much more friendly, I am not the only one to say that a girl I meet traveling said the same as well.

Anyway I meet as scooter driver who agreed to take me to Lan Bian mountain so I could go hiking. The drive on the way was really pleasant going through fields where strawberry's were growing and other fruits. It was awesome being on the back of a mop head going around all the little windy roads. Once I got to the entrance I took the long slog up to the break of point of the first peak which was 2100m meters high. The trees were something like out of the black forest in Germany and not what you would expect in Vietnam. The climb turned into a bit of a mud bath towards the top getting quiet step and you had to be careful not to slip. I meet a few other travelers on the way up. When I got to the top the view was good but it was hazy so I couldn't see everything that clearly but still it was great to get some exercise I feel good for it now! On the way down I bumped into some of the travelers I meet on the way up and they were having a picnic with their guide so I joined them for some free food, of course I was not complaining. The other group of travelers came along after and I decided to go on with them and do some more trekking but we couldn't find the path so we just went back to Delat instead where I plan too meet up with them for dinner.

I have missed my exercise the past few days, doing excercise in Hong Kong all the time your body almost gets addicted to it an I managed to find a local gym which charged 10,000 only about 50pence, it was quiet amusing all the Vietnamese were staring at me working out. It was funny non of them came over to chat or say hi, in other country's people are always willing to chat to you, I don't know why i is like this here maybe it has something to do with the war, I don't know. Anyway tomorrow I am off to the coast to relax on the beach for a few days in Mu Niu because I also need to rest my body and mind a bit from work so looking forward to that!
