Crikey mate - it's Australia Zoo

We headed straight off after getting back from the Fraser Island trip, continuing southwards to Noosa - another nice place we could have spent more time if we had it! But we had one aim in mind - Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo, a short drive from Noosa - and we had just enough time to fit it in before our flight the next day from Brisbane.

We fed elephants and kangaroos



but left the crocodile feeding to the experts



We saw some cute and cuddly animals



Some weird and wonderful animals



And some less cuddly animals



It was a pretty good zoo, if only for the crocodiles. Although Vic's favourite was the kid's zoo where all the baby goats, cows, sheep and pigs were kept (or kids, calves, lambs and piglets if you prefer). But since I'm a man I don't have any pictures of those I'm afraid! Ugh!!

So after that overdose on animal fun, we sped off once more heading for Brisbane - our time in Oz was at an end and we flew out the next day to Christchurch, New Zealand...
