Will it been two weeks since Hannah and I arrived in the home of the
brave and we have been having a great time. New York is a massive
city with a huge amount of things to do, so far we have spent most of
our time crossing off the classic must sees and have only really
scratched the surface.

On our first day Jude had jacked up tickets to the
filming of Dr Oz, he used to be on Oprah and now has a spin off show,
this one was a sex special, a little awkward when sitting next to
Hannah's grandmother and aunty, who were visiting at the same time,
anyway I got through it, keep an eye out 9:00am weekdays on TV3 for me
in the audience, pretty funny what some people are willing to give
away on national TV.

We spent a couple of days on a city bus tour and ticked off the empire
state, statue of liberty and a host of other site around the city, the
architecture is amazing the most stunning buildings on every corner.
Easy just to spend time wondering round the different areas of
Manhattan, so much just to look at.  Central park very cool and the
people really make the most of it, they have this big city living
sorted.

Spent a day at the Metropolitan Museums of Art (MET) last week, one of
those places where you end up just wondering past the most amazing
works of art because it is so massive you could not possible see it
all in a day.   (Couldn’t resist the Mao photo Andy) Did the dawn
parade yesterday for ANZAC day, pissing rain but pretty cool, it was
held at Battersy park, overlooking the statue of liberty.

Off to the UN building this afternoon and MOMA tomorrow, then going to
go to Washington DC for a couple of days  before a bit of a road
trip, Athol, has a conference in Ottawa so we are going
to drive up there via Niagara falls and some of up state NY so that
should be good.
