In a horrible turn of events we managed to score $57 rooms at the Hilton in San Antonio. I'd like to say we used this as a base to explore the history and culture or the region, I really would.

It definitely feels like we're on holiday now instead of traveling! Seaworld was a fun change of pace though but the heat was a bit stifling. My plan of hitting the rollarcoasters all day was short lived after the first one proved a bit rough on our old bones. The killer whales were awesome although the production of the show was painfully bad. The seals were a bit sad - they just hang around the side of the enclosure waiting for tourists to feed them $6 sardines. Almost all of the enclosures appeared overcrowded.

The waterpark section was fun, some great waterslides including one that went through the stingray enclosure.

We bought a funnel cake to try something new. Turns out its basically deep fried batter with ice-cream and fudge.
