Today I am leaving Panama City. The trip has been both rewarding and eye opening. So much to see. I really needed more time however my trip was successful for laying the foundation for a study abroad class in International Transportation at Lone Star College CyFair. The contacts I met allowed me to have a more detailed experience and establish relationships that I would not have been able to get without visiting the country. Panama has definite opportunities for study abroad courses in not only logistics but history, geography, and business. The country also may have opportunities for our Corporate College.
I am excited about the opportunities this trip can have for the Lone Star College System and look forward to being able to teach a course in Panama real soon.
