We crossed from Plymouth to Roscoff on Sunday 28th April and sailed at 11pm.  The crossing was smooth and we managed to sleep all night.

we arrived in Roscoff at 8am in the morning.  Not knowing where we were heading we sat in mum and dads camper (Connie) looking at maps and campsites over breakfast.  We spotted a place called Chateaulin which sounded nice and the guide book said it had a canal running through it so off we set.

ryan drove first and it did take a bit of getting used to driving on the other side of the road, especially when overtaking and at roundabouts.  We took a scenic route through the countryside and arrived at our campsite late afternoon.

The next day we left walking from the campsite and walked along the canal, it was a lovely walk and busy with other walkers and cyclists.  Along the way we passed many locks but didn't come across any boats.  The weather was bright although not that warm and our fleeces were on and off all day.

The weather stayed nice and we took the car out one day to a traditional village called Locronon.  We then drove along the coast and were surprised by how blue and clear the sea was.  We saw lots of surfers and different water sports too.  We managed to get a puncture so had to change the wheel but we managed to get it fixed the next day fairly easily.

Since the weather was so nice we stayed a day longer than planned and made the most of the blue skies.  We left campsite and headed for the Vendee, mum and dad planned a shorter route that day.
