Hi Again.
I'm still in St Louis and enjoying it. Turns out we didn't go to Phili, we're going there in mid December. On Tuesday i went on a quest to find the confluence of the Mississippi and Missouri rivers. On the way there i drove through some rural areas, naturally playing country music on the radio. Nice country. Eventually I got to where the rivers meet, and at first, it seemed i wouldn't be able to get to see the rivers. There are several refineries on the bank that blocked my way. Then, i found the 'Lewis and Clark Tower', which is about 75 ft tall, and would allow me to reach a height to see the rivers -- if it weren't locked up tight. So, i was beginning to think i couldn't reach the rivers there. Then i came upon the 'Lewis and Clark Visiter's Center' and finally gained access to the river bank. It is just about where L & C started their infamous expedition in 1803. One of my pictures shows where the two rivers join (I took the picture from the Illinois side on the right, with Missouri on the left and middle). It wasn't exactly exciting, but I was drawn to that spot because of its history. I also took a picture of a sculpture of Lewis & Clark & Lewis' dog, 'Seaman' -- interesting name for a dog (imagine him calling after his dog when it's run away :) ).

I took a picture out my hotel window, only because i was preparing to capture the forecasted thunder storm, which never materialized. The picture is pretty boring, but beyond the nets between those posts, is the ST Louis Ram's practice facility. Every week i send them positive thoughts (as a good tourist, not as a fan), and every week they lose. They haven't won even one game! St Lou has been dissappointed with its sports teams this year (the Cardinals fizzled also). Everyone's praying for the 'Blues' hockey team.

This week, other than work, i'll be on a quest to find the best pool bar. Until now i haven't found any bars with pool tables, so a waiter where i'm working wrote down a list with descriptions and directions. I'll also see at least one museum and renew my passport.

Speaking of which, i won't be going to Moscow, Russia after all, but i will be going to London in January. Until next time, Roger
