I noticed three young teenagers swapping music preferences on the Metro today... each in their own first language. The two British girls and the Czech boy seemed to have no problem understanding each other, and I started wondering if this was any indication of future generations. Children of ex-pats finding a way to integrate though an I-Pod play-list... the ability to adapt is amazing.
