Feb 12th (Jamie writing)
Today we got up early to go diving. It was our second day of training and our first 2 open water dives. We went to 2 smaller islands located just off Phi Phi lae. Bida Nok, Bida Nai is a limestone cliff islet with similar underwater terrain and, together with Bida Nok, is regarded as Phi Phi's best diving. Diving was unbelievable, we seen so many diff type of fish, corals and other marine life. On our second dive we even got to see a giant sea turtle swimming under water with us. We cannot wait until tomorrow for our last 2 dives for our course. If everything goes well we are going to take an extra 3 dives (shark point, a ship wreck and coral reef). This will get us half way to our advanced open water ticket. I think this will be something that we continue to do in our travels. Back to the Cobra a few days ago in my blog, no luck again today. They forgot my wetsuit, and someone ate my lunch. Oh well again!! On the ride back we also got really bad sunburns. I think I got a bit of sun stoke as well. I need to out how to time travel like the guy in Hero's and travel back and kiss that Cobra. Right now we are sitting on the beach having some fruit and water as we are both really dehydrated from the diving. I am also not felling to good from all of the sun. We are going to take it easy tonight as we have a long day tomorrow. Till tomorrow.
