We're back! After minor technical difficulties, our blog is up and running again. Just in time for our last 24 hours in New York City! It is hard to imagine that after months of planning the time has arrived.
Sam and I have ridden a rollercoaster of emotions the past two weeks closing out at work, saying goodbye to colleagues and friends, packing up our apartments, moving and putting the final touches on our trip. And let me just add that packing was not without anxiety, mild panic or defeat. All warm weather clothes for the second half of the trip are in a one-way parcel to meet me in Australia - it just wouldn't fit, I swear!
Tomorrow we'll sign off before the journey begins with our packing lists once the zippers close.
Check out Sam's newly trimmed global 'do!
