We had enjoyed our visit to Seaside a few days before and decided to go back. We left Long Beach, Washington and drove out to see the Cape Disappointment lighthouse. We crossed over the bridge to Astoria and down to Ecola State Park. In contrast to our prior visit, the sun was shining today. We spent a couple of hours just watching the waves and enjoying the sunshine. We watched a lady on a surfboard but she didn't get very far out in the water. Dennis stepped on a dead seal on the beach. We watched the waves move the logs on the beach. There was plenty of elk poop in the grass but we didn't get to see any elk.
We drove to Seaside and checked into our motel. We had dinner at one of the restaurant in town.
