The whole object of travel is not to set foot on foreign land; it is at last to set foot on one's own country as a foreign land.
Nothing better than a change of perspective. This trip helped me look at things from a healthy distance, and that has made me decide that there is too much world to be grounded in the same place. I do not want to live in Rio anymore, at least not for now.
I would live in Finland, and I probably will someday, but I do not allow myself to move anywhere else before I see Portugal, so that is where I am going first. From there we shall see what happens.
I remain here only for the necessary time to get my Portuguese passport and pack my thoughts, with probable departure in February.
This travelog is now finished, come back here in February for the next one ;)
(and thanks a lot for reading my stories! :)

Ah! I'm sure you'll make friends with a lot of people anywhere you go, but what about your friends here? I think they agree with me: YOU'RE BEING UNFAIR!!!!
And off you go again

Concordo Totalmente.
Out of date
It can sound a little strange my post in out-of-date, but I needed do that... Firstly because I´ll have an english test next Friday and I need some practice in reading a good english. And secondly, at the same time, to come back to the past and read your adventures in Europe, to make it up.
I've read all of your posts from 'what is there to see' and I realized that they were very interesting, funny, and very different from those from Brazil. There's no imaginary travelings... they were pragmatics and represented your experiences in all those places visited. There's no thoughts about life, people, about you. But they work out at all in another kind of view. It was good as well.
In spite of that, I came here to miss things I didn't participate ponctually in that time, even far from your thoughts (which now are closer)!!!

p.s.: I'll read now those from Portugal. :)
