I got there on the afternoon, went to my Brett's (my host) place to leave the bags and for a much needed shower and immediately went out, trying to see as much of the city as I could in the little time I had. I managed to see much of the old town in this day, including the castle, the hill of the three crosses (a really nice view over the city), a lot of very beautiful churches (it is surprising how many churches there are there) and a small part of the self-declared independent republic of Uzupio, but I couldn't find its constitution. :(
Then I went to the HC meeting in some bar, managed to find the members there (it is really funny to look for these meetings, interrupting strangers' conversations and asking: "Excuse me, am I looking for you?") and spent the rest of the night with them.
The next day, unfortunately, a sudden and very heavy rain started and I ended up not seeing much more, only going out to do some practical stuff before heading to Poland. Lithuania is now the strongest candidate for a "must see it again" trip.
