For this one Claudio was kind enough to serve me and Stephanie (Tomi and Vera's Australian guest) as a guide in the city. I met them after some quite necessary shopping (CDs, DVD and another old book by Aleksis Kivi - couldn't leave Finland without them!) in the squirrel island, that Stephanie wanted to see and I saw just quickly because as soon as I got there on the other day it started to rain.
After the island we went to another one, Suomenlinna, which has a quite interesting fortress with bunkers that look quite like halfling burrows, and spent the rest of the afternoon there.
After putting Stephanie on her train back to Jokela, me and Claudio walked a little more and parted ways as he had to go back home and me to Jutta's place, so that I could get an early start and take the first ferry to Tallinn the next day.
I leave Finland with the luggage heavier but the heart lighter, a part of it being left behind. Some day I shall come back and collect it, now I have to start the journey westward.
