Today we took the bus back to Gamboa so that we could walk to the rainforest Canopy Tower. It was another hot and sweaty afternoon of walking, on our way to the tower we saw an Agouti which is from the rodent family but bigger than a rat. We reached the Canopy Tower which was really well camaflouged in the jungle, the tower is 100 feet high and has different levels so that you can watch different levels of the jungle. At the top we had amazing views of the Sobereno National Park, we could hear Howler monkeys from different directions and saw lots of butterflies and birds, it was really nice to spend some time out of the city and watch the jungle.
On the way back to Gamboa to catch our bus Rene spotted an Armadillo that was walking across the path that we were walking along, it was so cool and looked like he/she was wearing armour and we were so chuffed to see one in the wild.
