This was a second day at our free disposal. As we could have breakfast at our lodge, we took it easy. The day was overcast. It looked as if it was going to snow.
Finally, we once again set out with our snow shoes, this time following the ski trails parallel to Äkäskero Mountain. After about one hour it started snowing heavily, and so 15 minutes later we decided to return to the lodge. So this day's excursion was only 2.5 hours. The snow fall was pretty, but in any case, snow shoeing was quite exhausting. Getting back to the cabin, we started up the sauna which was inside the cabin's bathroom. It was nice to warm up again after the morning's exercise.
