We got up at 8am & packed up our caravan & annex we left the caravan park at 9,45am. On the way to our next stop we called into Warrnambool cheese world & got some petrol & the kids got us all some famous chocolate milkshakes ($20) & they were very delicious. Along the Great Ocean Road to Skenes creek we called into The Grotto to take some video footage because we forgot to when we 1st went there & then we called into Loch Arch Gorge to see how it looked when it wasn't pouring with rain & windy. Seen as the kids were also too woosy to get out of the car the 1st time we visited. It was even more spectacular the 2nd time. We took some more photos & continued on our way, stopped a little way up the road at the Twelve Apostles to use the loos. We continued on our way once again after a short relief break. On the road to Skenes Creek we drove thru some very beautiful fern covered forests. We got to Skenes Creek about 2pm. We got to our caravan spot only to find we have no electricity or water. Oh dear, but we must troop on
. It seems as thou we weren't the only people lead to believe we would have power & water there were some other unhappy campers arriving as well. At the back of our caravan spot is the beach. It has very lovely rock pools either end for the kids to explore & the beach is white & sandy with next to no seaweed. When we parked our van we went for a bit of a walk & exploration of the beach to stretch our legs. After exploring the rock pools Jay & I headed back to our van to set up the annex & had some lunch whilst setting up. Jay went into town to get a connection for the hose to extend it so we can have water & some more fly killer stuff as there is heaps of blow flies around here. In the afternoon I went to the games room & charged up some of my powered objects. Jay went fishing & Braiden had a lovely time on the beach digging a huge hole.
