Still no school today as I have not heard back from them.  I did go and ask to speak to the Academic Director but he was off sick and may be in later.  They did say for me to go and sit in the common room, but what is the point staying there when I can go back to the hostel.  I am not very happy with the may they have handled the situation.

When I got back to the hostel, I asked Dom to help me type an email, as he is training to be a lawyer and would not how to put together a to the point email, without getting angry or frustrated, as I was getting.

This afternoon, Emma, Do and myself decided to go to the Malba Museum as it was half price to get in.  Malba is a museum of modern Latin American art.  Hmmm, not really my sort of thing, but I will give it a go anyway.

It is a huge newish building which holds hundreds of paintings and sculptures for the masses to come and stare at, digest and discuss what the hell they decide that this abstract weird piece of art is supposed to be.  Don't get me wrong, I do like art, but a lot of it I do not understand, especially ones where literally it looks like a two year old has got some tins of paint and thrown them over the paper.  How is this a masterpiece, or who decides it's a master piece?

I did enjoy myself, but felt a little out of place, only because it was obvious that Dom was in to art, and Emma really likes art, and knows a lot about it as she goes to a lot of exhibitions back in London.  She also works in the Imperial War Museum, so is interested in all these sorts of things and is very knowledgeable.  I feel, not stupid, but somewhat inexperienced in this field, so I just wandered around on my own trying to work out what it was all about.

We had to get back to the hostel at a reasonable time as Dom was leaving us today and heading to Mendoza.  Once we had all said our goodbyes, Me, Emma and Andy went out for a meal for the evening as none of us could be bothered to cook.  Ended up drinking even more Malbec and having a not so tasty meal.  Ah well, it can't always be great!

Oh, I also had an email back from the school to say that i could have 2 private lessons on Thursday and Friday but would have to pay a change fee of $40 USD.  To be honest, I do not want to pay it, but I don;t want to waste all of my money and at least I will be getting what i want, so i'm gonna bit the bullet and do it.
