After the wild partying on Saturday, the rest of my stay in Noosa was very much low key.

I was supposed to be going on a canoeing tour along the Everglades on the Wednesday, but that was cancelled due to only me being on the tour.  They had to have a minimum of 4 people so for the next 5 days, I spent most of it on the beach.

I did walk around the National Park and take the coastal path which was extremely pretty.  I got as far as Hell's Gate and sat there for a while, as you are supposed to be able to see dolphins and sharks out to sea, but I didn't see anything.  The walk was great though and it took about an hour to get to Hell's Gate, so it was a good bit of exercise.

The beach at Noosa is lovely so I did what I do best and lay on my back (no funny comments please Andrew!) and topped up my tan.  I must admit that I think I am starting to look like one of the native people now, and with what I have been drinking lately, I think I might start hanging out with them!

The other thing that I did on a daily basis was go to the welcome party.  I went to the first one the day I arrived, as they gave you info about the area and also a free glass of wine (Goon really!).  On the Monday, I was sat on the sofa in the hostel and the girl came up to me and asked if I was there for the welcome meeting.  I said no as I had already attended it, and she said, oh, just pretend you haven't been before, so every day at 6 pm, I went back to the sofa for my free glass of wine.  Why not, everything cost so much money so a free glass of wine to get me started for the evening is great!!

Unfortunately I didn't meet any young free and single rich men, but I did meet two gorgeous girls for Hampshire, Chelsea and Flavia.  Chelsea was born in Australia but moved to the UK with her family when she was young, and has just recently moved back.  Flavia is travelling with her for a month to see some of the East Coast.  They were two great girls and I only met them the day before I was due to leave.  Chelsea has invited me down to Sydney where her family live and I may be able to stay with them at some point.  If not, Chelsea is quite happy to take me out and show me the sights.  Happy days!

I am quite sad to leave Noosa, but it is definately time to move on as I don't think I can take much more of lying on the beach every day.  I can't believe that I am saying this!!
