I am glad I am spending time in Beijing before i go home - i think it would have been too much of a shock if one day i had been in Nanjing and the next day home!!
So... my journey 3h46m on the FAST train Nanjing to Beijing (about 1047km) with only 2 stops - was.... GREAT (of course but you know i am a geek for thoese trains) 304 kmph awesome!!!
I was very lucky to have had a lift to Nanjing station, and to be met at Beijing station - certainly made it a lot easier .
later that day i went out for a look around

It is funny to think that if you had just been here and not Nanjing then you would have had a totally different experience, and see completely different things.
i know.. China is so big and diverse - there is so much i more i would have liked to hae seen and done - but i will have to come back!
