I may not like shopping in the UK too much but its different when in a new interesting place!!!
As i was in company of others - i also visited shops i wouldn't normally go in - such as a pearl shop- so that was very interesting too - there is a picture of a girl threading pearls - in these shops they also show you how to tell if they are real or not.
But i saw a music shop - couldn't pass that one could i !!!! was tempted to buy a drum... but didn't lol!!
lunch had so many choices and we tasted many flavors; noodles, dumplings, meats, veg.
Obviously in Shànghǎi there are very many modern department stores, but as you can see there are of course the older parts too! So here are more pics of various shops

I had a great weekend with some great company but all too soon it was Sunday morning and time to go 'home' time for me to return to Nanjing while everyone else took another flight and moved on with their trip. :o)
