I woke up the next day with a post-night-before headache and wondered what to do with myself.  I was quite keen to go and see one of the other islands but not really sure where to start!  After getting talking to an American guy called Austin, he said that he and a few others were going to Isla Bastimentos if I wanted to go.  Sure!  So we got a water taxi over to the island and began our trek.  Now Austin had warned us (Daniella, Philip and myself) that the 40 or so minute walk would be pretty muddy and he was right.  It started to rain just after we started and it was definitely a muddy scramble from one side of the island to where the beach is.  We stopped at the top of the hill for a break at a tiny shop selling homemade chocolate products.  The real chocolate milk was fabulous!

On the way through the jungle we saw a posionous dart frog.  It was a spotted one and when I checked later, these are only found on this island!  We were headed for Wizard Beach but the beach next to is is called Red Frog Beach.

We made it to Wizard Beach and the sun came out a short time later.  There weren't many people there seeing as though you have to either trek or get a boat there.  There was a policeman wandering around the beach making sure we knew to always leave someone with our stuff if we were going swimming.  He did seems to have a pretty easy job, walking up and down a beach that had maybe 20 people on it!  We took the easier walk back to the other side of the island and while walking back to the docks a man asked us if we wanted a taxi back to Bocas.  We said yes, walked through somebody's house to discover that the taxi had come over with somebody moving house to Bastimentos!  We helped them move chairs and furniture and things from the taxi and then headed back to Bocas, slightly more sunburnt that when we had left!
