Happy Thanksgiving (to us 4 Americans on the trip)! Veronique and I woke up at 5:30am to catch the sunrise over the ocean at 6:15am, as our tent was just a mere 15 steps from the water. It was beautiful and very low tide. The captain & crew later took us on a boat trip to several good snorkeling sites nearby while he went free-diving for large fish. The fish he managed to catch were quite impressive! In the afternoon they took us all back out for deep-sea fishing, where most everyone tried their luck at catching fish. Max managed to catch a huge orange fish that was quite impressive, and a few others caught some smaller, yet edible fishes that we later grilled up with lemongrass for dinner. Not quite a traditional Thanksgiving, but I can wait another year for turkey. ;)
