I write this on the second floor of a lovely three
story house in the old (very old) section of the village of
Pierrelatte. It is absolutely charming. My hosts, Jim and Yolaine
Herbert, are incredible and I already feel like family. So much to tell
but I think I will let photos tell most of the story. Yesterday, I
spent much of the day in the incredible village of Balazuc where I met
my new friends John and Carol Merriman. John is Yale professor who
lives in New Haven, Paris, and Balazuc. What a life. I've been taking
(watching) one of his courses on French history on YouTube!
