We started driving to Ruidoso, New Mexico and saw a lot of things on the way. We stopped at a couple of antique places, not much, the same old, same old and not as good as Florence, Colorado.
Stopped off at Las Vegas, but not Nevada Steve, but New Mexico where we drove down town and visited an old antique store. We continued to travel on part of historic Route 66.
Did not know before we came on this trip that we would be in Billy the Kids territory. Actually the main casino here in Ruidoso is named Billy the Kid Casino. Guess we could get robbed there. This community is much larger than we thought when we made the reservations. We are pleasantly surprised by how much is available to do here. The resort, Pine Cliff Village is awesome and central to all activities. We are very pleased with the unit we have, large rooms, large kitchen, large bedroom, fireplace, and patio. Took pictures of the place to show you all. Pearl this is really neat, you would really like it, except it's on the second floor. Not really good for the old Arthur......
Well enjoy the view and pictures. Again, God made the trip a pleasure to endure!
