Had a really late start today as we really had nothing to do. I didn't manage to wake up in time for the breakfast so we headed off to Starbucks down the road for a coffee injection and a sandwich to get the day started.

But there wasn't really any need to. All I ended up doing was sitting on the Internet for about 4 hours uploading pictures, which subsequently got deleted, and basically killing time. There was nothing of interest that I really wanted to see so this seemed like the best option. Plus keeping this diary up-to-date takes a lot of effort!

As we would be heading further south in Latin America we were going to need to start taking malaria pill and guessed it would be just as easy to buy prescription pills over the counter as it was in Asia. Easily found the pills although they are under strength so we will have to take 4/week instead of 1!

By now we had successfully killed a lot of time and it was time for dinner so I set off to locate some more cash and left Dave to order the food and beer. When I returned he was sitting chatting to 3 Mexican girls so I happily joined in! We ended up drinking with them until 11pm, helping them learn English, when they had to get a bus home! Rather them than me taking the metro that late at night but it was great to meet some locals. Still feeling rather awake we headed to the upstairs bar and grabbed another big beer. Got chatting to a couple of really dumb Kiwi girls and mentioned we were going to Acapulco tomorrow and they decided to tag along. Seemed like an ok idea at the time.....
