Ok we came to Shepparton because the Harvest Trail told us there were apples to pick. Well there weren't. This week we worked 3 days and only earned about $150! Picking 1/2 tonne of grapes between 4 and only getting paid $15 for it was criminal!

Shepparton is also the worst town I have ever been to. Went into town on a Saturday afternoon and all the shops were closed! Biggest shopping day of the week and everything is closed. I hate this place!

The (only) hostel in town is also pretty bad. The people staying there, mainly Korean, are all great but there is nothing at all to do. Basically everyone is sitting around depressed due to the lack of work and just drinking goon (boxes of wine that seem to be very popular in Australia even though they contain milk, egg and fish) and getting drunk.

So after collecting my $150 I decided it was time to take action! I could either sit around depressed with no work for another week or get back on the road and go as far as possible until I ran out of money to buy petrol. I am never going back to Shepparton again and would advise everyone else not to either.
