The noodle soup yesterday was surprisingly good, and authentic, so we headed straight there in the morning for a delicious dim sum breakfast. It was superb and a great way to get ready for a day of sightseeing.
Started walking and headed to the Golden Triangle area of town where all the big skyscrapers and department stores are located. Had a good wander around and checked out all the electronics stores before walking to the KLCC again to check out the towers by day.
Ended up sidetracked by the LP's in the bookshop again for an hour before deciding it was time for lunch and sushi was calling! Genki sushi was fantastic and well worth another splurge. In what was supposed to be a day of sightseeing I decided I couldn't be bothered and went back to the hostel for some more quality Internet and mp3 time while Lars went on a shopping spree. He ended up spending £100 on stuff he probably didn't need but I joined him when he went in search of a memory stick for him camera in the S'n'M department store. Ended up buying an adapter for my mp3 player to transmit the songs as a radio station in a car. Highly illegal in most countries but will be great for the long journeys in Aus.
Had a call from the girls and arranged to meet up with them for a drink (of Coke) in the reggae bar later on tonight. In the area so we had a Mc D's for dinner (with really old packaging from 10 years ago) before another Starbucks coffee. Sat around chatting over a couple of drinks in the Reggae bar before heading to the cell.
