To prove how tired I was I managed to sleep right through until 2pm. When I woke up I thought I'd use the net for a while and finally get Vietnam written up (sorry I'm slow guys). When I arrived in Koh Tao 2 days ago I decided to buy a pair of generic black flip flops. I had them all of 2 hours before they were stolen from outside an Internet cafe, leaving me to walk bare foot down the street until I could find another pair (and they are still going strong now!).

So to avoid a repeat performance I balanced them outside so that I could keep a watchful eye over them. After about an hour of Internet action at the ridiculously expensive island price I went to get breakfast/lunch before hitting the shack to waste some time reading and scribbling a few postcards. Lucy came up to say hello and told me she had signed up on a dive course and it was all my fault. Apparently if I was up early we would have gone out riding motorbikes round the island or she would go diving. She sent me a text at 9am to see if I was up and the Gods of fate decided that I shouldn't receive it until 3pm. Therefore I believe I am absolved of all blame.

I reluctantly booked my tickets back to Koh Pha Ngan for tomorrow morning before going to the Pure Lounge again for another chilled out night in the bean bag chairs. I enjoyed my time in Koh Tao far more than I expected. I only went there on the spur of the moment rather than Pha Ngan as I knew people there, and didn't fancy a whole week at Hat Rin, but that was where I was going back to tomorrow....
