Why does it always rain on me?

After a few hours watching TV in the safety of our room I decided that was enough and I needed to get out of town. Whats the point of being at a beach resort in the rain?
Donned the rain coat and went out to brave the storm. It was full on monsoon rain. The roads, and most of the paths, were 4 inches under water so I waded my way through in my flip flops until arriving at the office and sorting out my ticket to leave tomorrow morning. It'll be a waste of a day but we had already paid for our hotel so the night bus was out of the question.
Soaked to the skin we decided that a beer was in order so went in search of the bar with a dart board near our hotel. Never found it so settled on another one until the rain abated a little.
In the evening we braved the rain and hit the same bars as yesterday. Sailing Club was almost empty but they had a guy singing live so we stuck around until he finished before going home.
