With very little to do today I decided to treat myself to a lie in. Lay in bed reading until finally deciding to rise at the crack of noon and do something.

Went to meet Dave who was eating lunch by the river but decided I wanted the buffet lunch I had seen near our hotel. As has been the case everywhere we've been, I managed to turn up 5 minutes after the buffet finished! Bugger! Oh well back to the Scandinavian bakery for another tasty baguette.

Made our way back to the hotel and used the net for an hour or so before heading to my room to write some postcards. Went to the reception to find out where to post them and who should I bump into but Kim and Lars, who were just checking into our hotel!

Walked around town with them for a while before going to a Japanese restaurant for dinner. Fancied a bit of sushi and although the dinner looked small, it was surprisingly filling and pretty tasty.

Headed back to the sports bar from last night to watch the might Spurs take on West Ham. Incredibly boring game and I wasn't best pleased with the last minute equaliser, although I knew it would happen.

Couldn't waste our last night in Laos sitting in a bar so we decided to go bowling. I sucked again but it was great fun. If you hit a strike when the red pin was at the front you got a free beer Lao! Well that was a challenge and only Dave managed to do it. After a few games we decided it was late enough (about 2am) and we should really head back as we had an early flight tomorrow. Said our goodbyes again and hopefully we'll meet up with them again in Cambodia, if not then Thailand for sure.
