Seeing as we had seen nothing yesterday we went out sightseeing. Had a wander round the town before walking out to the pagodas. The 3 Pagodas are famous in China so we had to visit. The LP said it was free to visit, which it wasn't, and there was no way I was going to pay it so I took a few free pictures and left.

Didn't want to walk back so we decided to give the horse carts a try. Pretty quick and surprisingly smooth. Was also very cheap!

With nothing else better to do, and I'd used the Internet far too much the last few days, so we rented out some bikes to go for a ride. Was pretty cheap and I got a decent bike with gears and suspension! Jesper wasn't so lucky and got an old girls bike with no gears that I found incredibly funny!

Hadn't ridden a bike for years but what they say is true and I was soon flying along again. It was a great laugh and we rode for miles. At one of the villages we rode through we ended up being chased through the streets by about 20 screaming kids which was really good fun!

We had to ride through loads of agricultural fields and at one stage navigate our way across a river. Most of the roads were cobbled or worse so it wasn't the most comfortable ride ever. It was good to get out of town for a while so it was well worth the 5 yuan.
