This morning was an early one and we hit the road at 7:30am. It was so strange that the countryside was completely different today.  Gone were the fields of wheat and canola and in their place were lots of cattle and sheep farms with dry brown grass and Eucalyptus forests.  Just before hitting the town of Grafton we hit some really curvy roads through the hills and it was amazing that just before we got there the temperature was about 13 degrees Celcius and as soon as we got over the hills, the temperature was 24 degrees Celcius!!  We had hit warm weather and were extremely happy :)  I can totally see why people want to move here from Melbourne, the weather is so much nicer!!

We got to my parents new place around 4:30pm and then spent the rest of the afternoon/evening helping them unpack their stuff, put together beds etc.  Still have lots to go though, so will be working hard for the next couple of days to try and get them sorted before the family get here on Saturday for yet another party for Dad's 60th and before we head off on our trip.  I also have to get the screen on my iPhone replaced before the weekend, as I managed to smash it today by dropping it on some gravel….very annoying!!

Would love to see some pics of your parents new home! The "straying cattle" brings me back to our drives in Australia together!
