Well this morning somewhere in Argentina we woke us to Spanish music blasting. Didnt have a very good sleep on our 19 hour bus ride. Bart seemed to get a good night sleep though. We had some really good food, lots of coffee, wine, soda, and champagne on this bus ride, good service with Via Bariloche. We left Bariloche about 5:40PM last light and arrived in Buenos Aires at 1PM on the 27th.

Got off the bus, wishing we only had the 3 little backpacks that were in our seats, We then realized how much stuff we accumulated, way to much. We think we might have to buy a new bag to get all of this stuff home. And to think we left 3 boxes in Sicily, mailed 2 from Australia and two from Budapest. Bart was thinking about mailing some stuff home, but we are better off paying the fines than waiting and hoping for our stuff to arrive. Hope we could get all of our liquids on the plane. We bought some good Mendoza wine.

Once we got our two very large backpacks we were off to the Metro (subway), hoping to find a place to stay in a different section called San Telmo. Once we arrived we found the Garden Hostel that I emailed to be booked, but they were full and said, "Since we are full, we havent been checking the e-mails". So they recommened a place around the corner "Homw Sweet Home". Bart thought it was fine for a night, but I told him I wasnt changing hostels the next day. It is getting to be to much changing everyday. You need to get up early, have breakfast, shower, and be out but checkout time. It is difficult, especially since Bart loves to sleep in and is not a morning person at all. So we had a miscommunication and decide to go back to St. Nicholas where we left a locker full of clothes, the computer, and other stuff.

Once their we booked 3 nights with our last night in a private room so we could get organized for our flight our of Buenos Aires on the 30th. We hit the well needed showers and we were off again this time to Star Travel to get our new tickets since we extended our trip for 11 more days hoping to extend it longer, but that is all the travel agent could offer. We stopped for some pizza at Ugi's accross from the Obelisk on the worlds widest avenue, since we havenīt had any food since about 7AM, now 4PM. Good pizza, sold in quaters instead of by the slice, but as Bart says needed alittle more sauces and to be cooked longer and my comments... didnt taste like pizza from home, so it was ok. As we were walking out, for some reason I asked if he had the camera that he asked for and he said no. I couldnt believe it our digital camera was left on a bed with 4 other people in the room. I called the place and they said it wasnt there. I cried the entire time we were getting our ticket changed. With only 8 days left how could this happen. We have gone this far. All of the pictures gone.

We hopped in a cab and rush back. As soon as we got there, what did I find camera right where I left it, when Bart asked for it. I was happy but supset that you cant rely on people and you always need to do things for yourself. What a waste of a day.

Well more family searching for us and hopefully some dinner and well deserved sleep. Hope everyone is enjoying the blog. Sorry we havent written much. Very difficult moving so much and not much acces to the internet, but we will update as soon as we get home.. Cant wait to see you all.

Love, Lyn and Bart

Hi strangers =)
HIIII it's Sarah that you met in Athens. So, I'm back in North Carolina, reading your blog and wishing I was still traveling. Ahhh, you're stories are incredible. You two are far better at keeping up with you blog than I was..hahah. I hope you got my message about how I was no longer in South America (my funds ran out sadly), though I really wish I could have stayed longer and met up with you two.
I looked through all of your pictures and blogs from Asia and Australia, WOW...I'm so happy everything is going well. So, it was a little unclear in this last blog, did you actually find the camera? If so, that's miracle..and I'm really happy for you. We should exchange Athens photos at some point. When y'all get home, I can mail you a CD of pictures.
I hope when you return from your travels we'll keep in touch. I really had a great time with you two in Athens and I would love to hear more about your travels. Perhaps we can exchange numbers when your back in the States. Good luck with your last few days in South America, I really loved it there!!
