Well today we slept in until 10AM,latest for me in a long time. Showered, packed, finished up a few things on the interenet and started taking those god offel malaria pills again. About to get some lunch up the street at a local tapas place. We all ordered two tacos each, very tasty I must say with a kick. I really enjoyed lunch, from our table we had a great view of the city with the Sky Tower right in the middle. We head to the airport around 1:30PM, for our 5:15PM flight to leave Zew Zealand on Thursday February 15, cross over the international dateline and were supposed to arrive in Buenos Aires on Thursday February 15 at 1:05PM. But to our suprize once again our flight was delayed. This time no food vouchers, until about 7PM our flight is being delayed even more and we finally go up to the customer service desk. We explained to them very nicely, that we have been there since 2:30 for our flight and we didnt have any New Zealand money left,so they gave us two $8.00 tickets, just enough to get food at the olny restaurant after you pass through customes BURGER KING. We had enoyed our free food, I tried the new Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich and Bart ordered the double bacon cheeseburger meal, we couldnt believe how small the snadwish was. But I will say one thing the fries are so much better then home, they taste like Mc Donalds fries, not the healthier crispy fries. Just as we finished our food,we noticed our flight finally had a gate and we were to board in about 15 minutes. Couldnt believe how fast they got us on the plane and we were off. At first there were not alot of people on the plane, but somehow all of the extra seats were all taken by peoplelaying down, which Bart wanted to do. I thought I would be fine for our longest flight of this trip 11 and a 1/2 hours. But after a while Bart told me to go for a walk,I just couldnt get comfortable. We both slept for a while, then Bart couldnt get comfortable. Thank god we were almost there. Great views from above, once we were able to open our windows. We say snow on the Andes, farm land in Argentina, and beautiful blue skies. We were finally landing and back into the swing of the things I have learned to hate, planning our trip. We got to comfortable in Australia, this is just getting to be a pain..

We went through customs with no problem, asked were we could get the local bus to the city, they told us down the road and we needed coins for the 1 peso 50 ride, which was equal to 45 US cents. We made our way to the Domestic Terminal and found the tourism off and the hotel board. We called around for a place to stay and finally after 4 tries found one. Along the way we meet a nice couple, that I asked Bart to see if they had any plans, we all ended up sharing a cab to the city.

When we arrived we were greeted with free beer and dropped our bags. We headed to the roof for a Argentinian BBQ, not bad only 18 pesos, but the next day realized we should have paid less. We had a great time and great food, took a few pics and headed to bed.
