It is really starting to feel like summer here in Australia, we have been very lucky with the weather.  We were told that when we get here for Christmas is will be 35 degrees Celsius which would be 95 degrees back home.  We were fine with that, hoping there would be some A/C or pool.  But it has been mild, until we hit the Whitsunday's last week.  There we didn't mind, we were always in the water and you never noticed how hot it was.  But laying in bed this morning in Noosa with just a ceiling fan, I couldn't believe how warm it actually was.  No wonder I couldn't sleep it was in the mid 80's by 8AM.  We already had our bags packed, Bart had some coffee, and we were just waiting for the 9:45AM shuttle to take us to the bus station.

As soon as we arrived there were lines of people at two buses one was heading north and the other south to Brisbane, both the 10AM bus.  We were booked on the 10:25AM Express Bus back to Brisbane.  After waiting a 1/2 hour someone at the stop called the Greyhound to asked where the bus was, "bus trouble we were told and it's running an hour and a 1/2 behind schedule".  This stinks, we were dieing from the heat, and didn't Bart ask me this morning if we could push our bus back to later in the day so we could enjoy another day at the beach!  We originally scheduled the 10:25AM, thinking we could do something for the day in Brisbane, but since we wouldn't be arriving to Brisbane now until 3:30PM, it was a total waste of a day.  Bart took a few walks, first for postcards and a couple pics of the Main Beach, then for something to eat and drink.  He had a cottage pie and I had a banana and a Bluebeery blast smoothie from Boost.

Finally the bus was here, we were the first ones on.  Only because I wanted to know if we where getting on the right bus.  The bus driver was a little wise with me, but it's understandable now driving a second bus with ever more problems then the first.  Bart picked seats up front so we could actually see the movie this time, but that wasn't working either.  At least the A/C was, so we took a little nap.  And soon we pulled into the Brisbane Transit Station, starving since we had no lunch.  Bart needed a drink and found a Mc Donald's.  We ordered a Cheeseburger meal to share.  He forgot to order without onions, which was fine, I told him he could eat it, but he cleaned off all the onions so I could have a few bites.  It hit the spot.  We hopped on the train at the Roma stop and headed out to Nadia and Luke's house.

At the house, we felt like we were back home again.  Unpacked our bags, had a drink, Luke cooked dinner, a nice Lamb roast with roasted potatoes, onion, garlic, and squash.  It was very tasty and could you believe we forgot to take a picture.  We talked about the past two weeks both ours and theirs have been very busy then headed to bed..
