We woke up nice and early and headed to Stanthrope, Robert found more relative he was trying to meet.  It took us about 3 hours.  We started in the city and ended in the country.  Along the way we passed vineyards, cattle farms, fruit farms, golf courses.  We even passed through a beautiful mountain range, sort of felt like we were home driving through the Poconos.  The road through the mountain was very windy, with amazing views.  We even saw a kangaroo, unfortunitly is met it's faith.

We arrived at Josephine and Orazio's house and were greeted by the kids and Carmela.  Carmela offered us some of her homemade chicken and rice soup.  It was REALLY homemade.  Orazios parents had one too many roosters which ended up in the soup!  The kids were showing us all of their pets the dog and cat and kittens.  They showed us around the house, having a look at the pictures on every wall

Soon Josephine was home with Isabella, and the history began.  She was so happy to meet Robert.  Words couldn't express it.  They talked for awhile and Carmela told the both of them about old memories that she had about life in Italy and of members of the family.

After awhile Marissa was whispering asking every 2 minutes to eat prawns, she knew when everyone was around she could eat them.  We were told they are her favorite.  We had a nice chat during our little snack/ break time of the day, or as Australians would call it "smoke-o".  They use the word smoke-o for break time, even if you don't actually smoke.

Once we finished the prawns we took a ride to the local golf course to see the kangaroos.  There were a few, but they were still pretty far back in the course where they come out to graze.  People were still playing their round of golf, so they were not making there way up to the club house to feed.  The kids were funny... Isabella rode with us on the way to the golf course and Marissa and Natalie thought this was unfair so they switched on the way back to the house.  -They had to take turn.  The girls were so funny, Robert was making them laugh so hard.  He would pretend not to know the way back to their house and if he say a person walking or a cow in a field he would yell... "Theres a kangaroo!"  They thought this was hilarious.  They were giving it back to him by Telling him there was a cat was in the car, as Marissa would quietly meow.  -It was a fun ride!

We arrived a little early and Orazio was still preparing dinner on the barbe.  So Josephine popped in her sisters 50th Birthday party DVD, so Robert could get a look at the entire family.  It was a nice party, looked like they had great food and a great time.  Soon it was time for dinner, we had steak, sausage, lettuce and cabbage salad, tomato and onion salad, everything was very tasty.

After dinner they invited us to stay for the night and to join them over Orazio's parents for a birthday celebration, but it was starting to get late.  And Frank and Joyce let us borrow their car, so we wanted to head back to Brisbane at a decent hour.

We pulled in front of the house around 11PM, to hear music coming from the house.  We though Nadia and Luke were having a party, but just watching a DVD of  some of their favorite music (Jeff Buckley).  We sat down for awhile, but soon made our way to bed.  It was a very long, but very fulfilling day!
