We were up early again.  Nadia made us some breakfast, wonderful eggs with spinach, tomatoes ( and yes I(Lyn) ate them), salami, and cheese.  Very taste and lucky Giger (Luke's dog) got all of the left overs.  This dog loves food.  We have made friends with him, thank god, because he is a big god.  All we needed to do was talk to him and Luke and Nadia are not home and give him food and he is your new best friend.  He always greets you at the kitchen door when you open the frig or are cooking and makes this poor face that he is starving.  So he had gotten plenty of food from us.

Once we were all showered, we were on our way to the Gold Coast.  Nadia dropped us off at the beach at Surfers Paradise.  We went in the water on the other side of the Pacific and is was cold.  Same as it is at home every time I go to Ocean City it rains.  The rain has followed me all day today.  We couldn't believe it, so we just walked around the shopping mall that is mostly outside.  We even came across Sant and had our picture take and Bart bought me a elfs hat, which I had my picture taken new to a tree.
After Nadia's audition we meet up with her at MC Donald's and grabbed some lunch at Sage's.  We had some really good food, Bart had a salmon sandwich, I had a chicken and chili sandwich and Nadia a Steak Sandwich.  I must say Nadia's looked the best and the french fries were great.  After lunch we still had some room and went to Cold Rock (Just like Cold Stone in US) for some ice cream.  Here you pick a favor and then a topping or ingredient and the mash it all together in a marble slab.

Soon we were back in the car to get ready for a night on the town.  We were headed for the Valley, just outside of Brisbane.  But first we had to get dresses, no travel clothes tonight, no short, no flip flops or was they would call them in Australia "thongs".  Nadia picked out close for me to wear, did my make up ( which no one has ever done before ), and straightened my hair.  Bart was looking at we like something was wrong.  I new I looked really different, but was it in a good or bad way.  Once I say myself in the mirror I couldn't believe it, I looked about 5 years younger!  She performed a miracle.  Luke keep telling me I look so young but I didn't know what he was talking about until I looked into the mirror.  What a chance.
Soon the taxi was here to take us to Noi's in the Valley.  Luke and Nadia's friends were having a little Christmas gathering there and had invited us.  I would say we meet a good handful of their friends and everyone so nice and beautiful.  A lot of Nadia's friends are actresses, so you could just imagine.  And Luke's friends will make you laugh in any situation.  So it was a perfect night.  After many drinks we all had, I was ready to go home around 12.  But no one else, after a pizza and a quick stop over st QPO a VIP bar, we were in a taxi on our way home.
Thank god we were awake, because the driver wasn't sure where to go and Nadia and Luke were sound asleep.  Poor Luke sat in the front with his head bobbing up and down and Nadia's soft cheek eventually made it's way on my shoulder.  We were telling the driver what way to go, but we blow right past the turn.  Then I woke Nadia up and he told him how to get to her house from there.  Once in the house, we all called it a night and headed straight for bed.

Australia
You went all the way to Australia and didn't bother to go to Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef?

What a waste of time, the 'Gold Coast' is. Kinda like Wisconsin Dells with an ocean.

And it's 'Cold Rock', not 'Cold Cream', and a piss-poor copy of Cold Stone, like most Australian ripoff ideas. Better off at Baskin Robbins
